BETWEEN the LINES is an independent magazine, featuring metaphors, implications in works of art and literature with an emphasis on "reading between the lines".

The magazine is inspired by the idea of exploring what is not expressed in words, finding untold stories behind art pieces and reading hidden messages between the lines. To read between the lines is to decipher, to find the embodied metaphors and to embrace the spontaneous chaos and fun during the journey of discovery.

Blending Chinese and English, translation is used to experiment with how languages sit alongside each other; how they interpret, understand and reveal things about each other.
